Buckie Thistle FC are excited to share exclusive content with our fans via our new Recast channel.

Today, Buckie Thistle FC launched its own channel on subscription-free streaming platform Recast. Buckie Thistle FC’s channel will give our fans access to Live PPV home matches, Pre and post-match highlights, live events, behind the scenes content, exclusive interviews and much more via Recast’s affordable and easy to use platform.

Buckie Thistle FC’s Recast channel www.recast.tv/BuckieThistleFC will enable us to build deeper connections with our fans, who can choose what content they want to watch, without the commitment of a subscription or having their content interrupted by ads. Buckie Thistle FC will receive up to 80% of the revenue generated for every view, providing us with a much fairer split of earnings than other streaming platform providers, while ensuring our fans can easily access their content whenever they want.

Content on Buckie Thistle FC's new channel can be purchased using Recast’s in-platform currency Cast Credits, on its microtransaction-powered platform. Fans will receive 25 free Cast Credits when they join Recast and can earn additional Casts by watching ads, inviting friends and sharing data and content, as well as purchasing them directly.

Talking about the new channel, Buckie Thistle FC’s Commercial Director Daniel Farquhar said:

BTFC are delighted to partner with Recast to ensure that our fans across the world have the opportunity to view all home matches live and on demand through our PPV service as well as much more exciting viewing content. Previously this was not possible with our current PPV set-up due to the FA embargo preventing us from streaming live games on Saturday afternoon’s due to the lack of our geo-blocking capabilities, however the platform Recast offer now gives us this much needed ability.

Sadly for the time being nothing will change for UK residents until this legislation is reviewed, however as a club we are looking to maximise our revenue potential globally for PPV matches as we appreciate we have many loyal BTFC fans across the globe and Recast gives us the ability to do so. UK based fans will however still have the ability to purchase and watch the matches affected by the FA embargo on-demand shortly after the match is finished.
